No appending. Its handled by the Knoppix hardware autodetection routine. Plug 
and play :-)

I removed fluxbox and almost everything besides KDE and Flightgear to keep the 
download size small. I guess if a machine is capable of running Flightgear it 
could handle KDE as well.
