If you are open to suggestions beyond FW-1, take a look at
SecureZone from Secure Computing. By my read it will provide for over 75%
of the requirements that you have mentioned. Go to

Good Luck.

Hi Everybody,
I am implementing a VPN, i have a FW-1 installed and i wish
to give
access to mobile users, I am evaluating now SecuRemote from
Checkpoint,
and i have some questions:
1.- Is there any other technology involved beside
encripting, such as
IPsec or CA's?
2.- I read that there is support for non valid IP addresses,
but what i
want to do is this, i want to use the same internal IP
address in and
out the internal network, that means if there is a way to
connect to an
ISP, use that address through internet 'til the firewall,
and then use
my original IP address... i know that Permit Client from
TimeStep does
it (using IPsec).
3.- Is there a way to block the configuration from the user
so he/she
couldn't change the original configuration made by the
network
administrator.
By the way i am trying to open an application to the
internet, i already
have SSL in the web server and authentication in the
firewall, but i
want to implement CA's to guarantee the authenticity of the
user... what
you guys suggest?
Regards,
Jose Caldera
