Ask your lawyer about liability issues.  If a malicious site abuses
some security holes in your applets you may get into a bit of trouble.
At least if you're in the US I think this alone should be reason
enough not to host any ActiveX applets.

Aside from legal issues you may want to consider the PR impact if it
was publically known that your site hosted an ActiveX applet that got
exploited by someone else.
