I would highly recommend the upgrade. 3.0a is, frankly, a pretty buggy version.
There are a number of major show stoppers. 3.0b + 3045 is probably going to
serve you much better, and there are really no major operational differences.
You won't have to reconfigure anything. Ideally, you just need to run the 3.0b
upgrade, then the 3045 patch. Just be sure to backup your FW, and have the 3.0a
distributions handy.
