Paul,

Remedy uses portmapper rpc calls.  You can override the portmapper by
setting environment variables on the client.

ARTCPPORT=1010
NTTCPPORT=1050

you need to also hard-code the port numbers on the Remedy Server.  you can
do this by setting
these environment variables in the ar.cfg & nfy.cfg files in the conf
directory.

in the nfy.cfg put

Notifier-Specific-Port: 1050
TCD-Specific-Port: 1010

in the ar.cfg put

Notifier-Specific-Port: 1050
TCD-Specific-Port: 1010

You can set up rules in the policy editor to allow these packets.
