Your Fink installation is _supposed_ to work independently of whether
you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit kernel, so you should be able to update
and install.

That being said, some packages try to use the running kernel setting to
figure out what architecture to build for.  This is not what we want, so
please let us know if anything comes up--you should get an error if you
encounter a package that has missed being checked.
