Does it work? This is the important question. Warnings can be ignored if
the program works.

For example, I am getting the following for every gnome app I start :

(gimp:73673): Pango-WARNING **: Error loading GDEF table 0x6ead
(gimp:73673): Pango-WARNING **: Error loading GSUB table 0x6ead
(gimp:73673): Pango-WARNING **: Error loading GPOS table 0x6ead

This is a warning that looks serious because it even contains the word
"Error". But it does not seem to prevent the app from running correctly,
so I simply ignore it.
