In general, it seems to work fine. There are two areas of problems I
have encountered over the past while, but I'm not sure if they're
specifically related with this version of CVS or not:

(1) Intermittent server problems; sometimes I either get bounced by
the server, or get blocked while the server has a lock on something,
or fail to connect entirely because of a server prolblem. I see these
as pretty much "cost of doing business" and don't really see them as
bugs. However, I do notice that, with the rsync method I use at home
there seem to be less of these systemic glitches. I'd probably switch
to rsync here at work as well, if I didn't have the firewall issues I
have.

(2) Every now and then CVS seems to mess up in setting permissions on
a file, and some file blocks a build (it must be deleted, made
unwriteable, or "moved out of the way"). Since I never go into Fink's
file tree myself, I *assume* that these are CVS prolblems. Again, I'm
not sure these are specific to this version of the tool, or just
general "cost of doing business" issues that are endemic to CVS
itself.
