Greetings,

I had quite a few issues with my 2-year old fink installation, so I opted to
remove it (via the directions found on the website) and start from scratch
(last night). Presently, I only need fink to install GCC and GNUplot. The
former installed without problems, but the latter throws an error I can't
seem to fix (Google'ing and forum/thread-searching hasn't really helped me).

Here's a snippet from the installation log (e.g., when I run 'fink install
gnuplot'):
Removing build-lock package...
/sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -r fink-buildlock-cdparanoia-3a9.8-14
(Reading database ... 13950 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing fink-buildlock-cdparanoia-3a9.8-14 ...
Failed: phase compiling: cdparanoia-3a9.8-14 failed
