To the person who last emailed about the startup delay..

I have noticed the same thing.  And would like to do something about
it as well.  It should be fairly trivial, either preplay something,
(eg. 'monitoring audio system functional' - now we really are getting
fancy!)
or, have a command line switch which does the same.

I'm interested in you application!
