Adrian,
please let me know if you cure this behaviour as I have the same problem and can \
find no answer.
Kind Regards,
Jim

Subject: FT: Error using festival server and client
Hi,
I am trying to create a wav file using the festival client. I start festival in \
server mode using:
festival -server
Then I try the following command using a different command window:
festival_client --output test.wav --otype riff --ttw samp.txt
In the command window running the client I get the following error:
festival_client: can't open tmpfile "/tmp/est_-621097_00000"
In the command windowing running the server I get:
client(1) Wed Apr 24 10:17:40 2002 : rejected from 127.0.0.1 not in access list
How can I make the server aware that I want it to accept this client? Or am I \
doing something else wrong? Thanks in advance.
Adrian
