Hi David,

I had a look at the list and the closest I could see was bz 180038
<https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=180038>. However,
the user was describing a color appearing on the screen whereas I
receive just a black screen (they were also only running an FC4 kernel).

I think I have convinced myself to log a bugzilla problem.

Cheers

I too have the same problem. The suspend part of the process works
fine, however the resume fails. It powers up and then the fan start at

therefore ssh the machine.

The machine does not respond to pressing the power button to initiate
the acpid event button/power.* (in /etc/acpi/events/sample.conf).

It's the video which remains blank. I have modified the video driver
and received the same problem with the nv open driver.

Clayton, can you see if the result on your machine is identical to any
