As to whether it's a good idea: I think it depends on the amount of traffic
you think there is likely to be. We have a lot of dead lists that are just
spam magnets and we don't need more of that, so it should at least be
something you're certain a reasonable number of people will use at least
every month for the forseeable future.

It will also need at least one moderator and ideally two or three.
