20 minutes of idleness is not really 'a short time' - not like it will
suspend while you are pausing to collect your thoughts in the middle of an
email.

The benefit is that this default is compliant with power saving regulations
in various regions.

As to whether we should change it or not, that depends on how important we
consider the 'running uninstalled' use case. Every
change from the default that we do for it adds some extra cost
and makes the 'run live' case weaker for 'trying it out' - you end
up trying something that behaves differently from the real thing...
