Just did a power cycle and again at the login prompt time got:

[   79.174005] systemd-journald[603]: File 
/var/log/journal/d95778d33e104db0941e0df35b8fe8b2/user-1000.journal 
corrupted or uncleanly shut down, renaming and replacing.
