Frederik,

I have a IPAQ 3970 using Familar8.4 opie. There is an on going bug to mount
the SD card.
The work-around that I use is after a reboot, I bring up a console window
and type: "modprobe mmc_asic3"
without the quotes then enter.
Then until you have to reboot for whatever reason, you will have full access
to your SD card. A bit of a hassle
but it doesn't bother me. If you try to write that command into your boot
script, be careful, if you run it too soon
at boot then the boot will freeze. I did that once and had to re-flash the
ipaq.

Good luck,
Steve
