I have just updated my iPAQ to 0.6 pre1, by installing bootgpe-v06-2.jffs2.
Unfortunately I am not having network connection available for my iPaq, 
so I need to download files by hand and
transfer them to my iPAQ.

For a first thing, I will try to install "Gpe-appmgr 0.07pre".

1) It would however be good, if I could checkout the current version 
number of that program from some about-box, but I think
that there does not exist any for GPE appmanager.

2) What packages I should install if I want to re-configure my PEN, 
currently it does not point to correct places.

3) Is there still available X-enabled version from QTE for iPAQ? There 
vere some talk from that earlier in this summer.
     That is something I would really like to get.

4) What toolchain I should get if I want to start making chess-game for 
GDE? (Compiler version, if somebody has good instructions I will be 
pleaed to try them)

5) Would it be possible to get information how to make 
font-installatitions by downloading all fonts "by hand" to the iPaq.
