Off the top of my head I think you can get away with:
git clone https://github.com/mono/f-spot.git
git submodule update --init --recursive
And in theory you should be able to follow this (sorry for any problems
with this):
https://github.com/mono/f-spot/blob/master/README.md

Hmmm ... I've sometimes over-ridden plain text trying to include links in \
messages to a Yahoo email group. It was set to auto-detect. Should now be on plain \
