Hi,

The following bug

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393129

deals with "Search by camera model"

Since camera model is just one property of the picture, it would make
sense to expand that capability to search by metadata instead (like
Lightroom does it).

How could this be done?

Would it be required to have a copy of all the photo meta data in the
database? (otherwise searches would be really slow). As far as I know
f-spot does not have any photo meta data in the database.

I was thinking of starting to implement the search functionality but
would like your advice.

Regards,

Christoffer
