We've recently begun using ezmlm-idx to handle several mailing lists.
We have sign-ups for each of these lists on our website (implemented as
individual mailto: links). The Powers That Be would like to have a
webform with checkboxes for each list so that users can sign-up for
multiple lists in one shot. Is there a sensible way to do this? One
thought I've had is to use a simple cgi script that generates an empty
email message, from the specified address, addresses to the subscription
address for each selected list.

I'd appreciate any input on why this is or isn't a good idea.

Thanks! =)
