Roadmap is:

  Complete the metadata-only journaling
  Internal cleanups:
    remove journal data structures to a separate journal_head structure 
    rename the "jfs" layer to "jbd" (for "journaling block device")
  Add support for journal on a separate disk (easy)
  Merge into 2.4.
