  | Hm... I like it the way it is. Perhaps a preference item in a
  | future version when someone gets motivated to write the code.

My sequences window lists sequences, and under them, the folders that
contain messages with those sequences (and their counts of course).
I much prefer it that way.

I haven't attempted to distribute the code because I haven't done any
of the cleanup that is needed for that (like adding preference items,
or for that matter, re-instating the old way so a preference item would
have some alternative to offer...)

And because it also has other changes (like having a fixed colour scheme
rather than using the ftoc colours) that also need preference items
(I use a solid black root window, make the sequences window have a solid
black background, and tell the window manager not to draw hideous borders
around it, and make it sticky - so the sequences window appears as a part
of the root background, just like the clock, battery indicator, etc - and
with Preferences->Sequence Window->Button 3 Mode set to "compose" I can
send mail from any virtual root window, I don't have run back to the one
with exmh running in it).

  |
  | Yeah, I was thinking that myself yesterday.

I do that as well... (because I stick the sequences window to the right
margin of the desktop, everything sitting to the right is much better,
but I still have no preferences items...).

ps: I am going to try and find some time to do a bit more exmh work soon,
I may get all of my stuff tidied up to a state where I can offer it to
people to look at.
