Hi
I'm trying to get exim running from my /etc/rc.d/init.d, but in -d9 mode,
then have the debug info echoed to a virtual terminal.
this is because its very useful to be able to check if a mail has been sent

exim -bd -d9
works fine at the console
and it looks like /usr/sbin/exim -bd -d9 -df is the command i need, then
open -c 5 tail -f <file> to get the -d9 output into virtual tty #5.

All I need to know is which file the output from exim -df goes to?

Thanks

Joel
