	Hi,
I think it's both of the above.

Evolution adds only the user Google address book to the Contacts,
because it's the only one it knows it exists. This address book is
provided by Google through a CardDAV API.

You can add custom CardDAV (or other) address books, you only need to
know the address the address book is available at. This can be tricky
due to an OAuth2 usage with the Google server, but let's start with the
basics. Do you know where the company address book can be accessed at?
Maybe it's provided by LDAP, on a company server, not on the Google
server.

You can try Edit->Accounts->Add->Collection, or File->New->Collection
account, fill in your company email address and let it detect what it
can get out of it. Companies provide autoconfig options, sometimes.
