yes, as long as the server supports it. Though it also depends on the
version of the evolution-data-server you are using.

This is the synonym of IDLE, more user friendly, because regular users
won't understand what the IDLE is. As other plugins also use this exact
sentence, then also the IMAP+ configuration uses it. The 3.20.1 version
also enables NOTIFY only if this option and the server supports it
(previous versions use NOTIFY unconditionally).
