	Hi,
Google backend in your version doesn't support those fields, thus the UI
disabled them to indicate they are not available. Newer version, like
3.4.x, support them.

I do not use Ubuntu myself, thus, as Patrick said, you may ask on their
forum(s)/list(s). I think there is some repo for it, but it brings in
all dependencies, and as you indicated you are low on disk space
already, then it's probably undoable for you, same as compiling
evolution (and all its dependencies) on your own.
