FYI, --disable-sparse  and --disable-aix are not needed for EVMS 2.5.1.
EVMS no longer supplies the aix and sparse plug-ins.  There is no code for
them.  There is nothing in the configure scripts that will try to build
them.  The empty directories are left because it is a pain to get the
directories removed from CVS on SourceForge (it requires email to the SF
admins to have them manually remove them).
