I am using evms 1.2.1 on a RedHat7.3 system running a evms patched
2.4.20 kernel. I create a snapshot volume using the CLI evms as so:

c:o,Snapshot={original=/dev/evms/homes_001,snapshot="homes_001_snap",writeable=FALSE},sb1
c:v,"homes_001_snap",Name="homes_001_snap"

where sdb1 is a free data segment of 8GB

However, no homes_001_snap shows up in /dev/evms. If I run evmsn
I clearly see a /dev/evms/homes_001_snap volume listed as such:

/dev/evms/homes_001_snap 8.0 GB 244 X X

I tried doing a 'mknod homes_001_snap b 117 244' but trying to
mount it reports an invalid block device.

What am I missing?
