Linux 2.4 will support blockdevices up to 2TB; so thats your main
limitation.  But Raid itself should support up to 2TB as well.

2.6 has support for 16TB blockdevices (on 32-bit systems w/ 4k pages,
8Exabytes on 64-bit); not sure if RAID-5 and DM have been tested on such
large devices though.  It hopefully "just works".

I'd be interested if others could shed some light on their practical
experiences with RAID-5 and DM limitations under recent 2.4 and 2.6
kernels.
