I tried this last night. For some reason I get an error launching
the gui (actually, any time I invoke the 'engine') stating that "the
kernel's version of ioctl is 12 and the 'engine' requires 11" (or
something like that).

I tried grep'ing through the sources, and found only one entry the
evms_ioctl.h which referenced '12':

	#define EVMS_IOCTL_INTERFACE_MAJOR      12

I tried changing both this and the file referenced by the kernel to
11, then recompiling both evms and the kernel, re-installing evms,
and booting with the new kernel, but it didn't seem to work.

Somewhere there's an 11 which needs to ++'ed :)

However, I was able to get to my home dir this morning, YAY!
(the first thing I did was through a tape in the drive and start
tar'ing to it :)

	It may look like I'm just sitting here doing nothing,
   but I'm really actively waiting for all my problems to go away.

	 If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right!
