Subject: [Evms-devel] using evmsn with /usr unmounted

I installed evms 1.2.0 from source and created an evms native volume to
contain my /usr filesystem. Now I want to expand it using evmsn. I
installed the engine directories under / in /evms (engine/.configure
-prefix=/evms) so the files would be available if I unmounted other
filesystems. The problem I now have it that evmsn needs libgpm.so.1
(linked to libgpm.so.1.19.0 on my Mandrake 9.0 system).

I moved libgpm.so.1.19.0 from /usr/lib to /evms/lib, created a link to
libgpm.so.1 in /evms/lib and ran ldconfig. Now ldconfig -v reports
libgpm.so.1 is in /evms/lib, but when I "telinit 1", "umount -a" and run
"/evms/sbin/evmsn" evmsn claims it can't see libgpm.so.1 (cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory).

Any suggestions?
