Hi there,

on my embedded system I have to run mkdosfs and dosfsck on big HDDs.

But since I only have 16MB RAM the above mentioned programms bail out with "Out 
of memory".

According to the author it's because he allocates huge amounts of memeroy 
although it's almost only filled with NULL.

Has anybody rewritte these tools?
