R 2.3.1 returns only a double quote character after the RWeka package is
loaded. 

This does not happen when running R in either command line mode under
Bash or 

from the R GUI.  I assume, but do not know with certainty, that this
means that

ess has a problem interacting with R after the RWeka package is loaded.
Can

you confirm this and/or provide any practical suggestion as to how to
get the

R plus RWeka combination working in windows under emacs + ess?  Thank
you.
