You have to make your script visible to the menu system.  Pull up
"Settings => Apps => Personal Application Launchers" and click on
"Add".  A window will pop up and you can enter the data about your
script there.  Once that's done, your script will appear in the
"Applications" tab of the "Startup Applications" window.
