Can anyone give me a suggestion on how
to clear this up?  It's output from
autogen.sh, current CVS.

./configure: syntax error near unexpected token
`AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE($PACKAGE,'
./configure: ./configure: line 543: `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE($PACKAGE, $VERSION,
no-define)'

Can't compile.  I've got the most current version of automake too.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
