Hi,

I am seeing random packet loss with this hardware in Linux:

Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82567LM-3 Gigabit Network Connection (rev 02)
Device: HP Compaq 8000 Elite CMT PC
BIOS is latest: Version: 786G7 v01.14

The issue is exactly the same that this old post for 82579LM:

On high load (around 20 Mbps), while linked at 1Gbps, random received packets are \
dropped. To make things worse, any of counters viewed either via ethtool -S or \
netstat -s does not show any problems (errors and drops 0). I can see that indeed \
there are packet loss using SPAN in the switch and a sniffer. I see all packets sent \
to Linux ethernet port but Linux doesn't see some of these packets in tcpdump. They \
are lost, silently. Testing this problem showed that changing link to 100 Mbps solves \
the issue. So the problem is only present when linked at 1 Gbps, although the traffic \
is the same (around 20 Mbps).

I have manually compiled latest e100e drivers, version 3.3.3 and also tried with \
different Linux kernels (currently at 4.5.5).

I tried the patch and solution for 82579 but it doesn't solve this problem for 82567 \
(I don't even think 82567 card has K1 power optimization).

Any help would be greatly appreciated for this issue.
