Thanks John and Allan,

The cable modem has 3 lights excluding power and line sync. The others are
Lan, Line transmit and Line receive.

When I first looked up IP 144.137.164.218 it came out as
TELSTRAINTERNET101-AU, now this IP shows:-

So far I have had unauthorised programs trying to access two
TELSTRAINTERNETXXX-AU locations and no response from Telstra abuse.
