Except this isn't an issue. In RHEL/CentOS, kernels remain compatible. 
I've not updated DRBD since 8.0.8, and the last 4 kernel updates "just 
worked" with the old module. All it takes is symlinking drbd.ko to a 
weak-updates directory.
