Another option is 'find / -mtime -1 -size+1000000c -exec ls -l {} \;' to
list every file that has been modified during the current day that is over
1MB in size.

I'm assuming your using GNU/Linux or another *nix style system here, but
start with the following command at / :
        # du -h --max-depth=1
That should print out a list of the directories in that directory, starting
with the adjusted agregate space taken up by the files in those directories
(and their subdirectories). Change to the directory that is showing the
greatest space usage, and investigate that directory. Try running du with
the arguments given above in that directory to see the space usage of any of
it's subdirectories. This should eventually lead you to the culprit.
Once you can name some of the files that are taking up the space, it should
help considerably to tracking down the cause of your problem.

Subject: [Dragonidsuser] Memory problem ??

Hi all in recent time I am noticing that my root file system on my dragon
server appliance is filling up every day even though no data from dragon
gets placed there. A reboot normally frees up this space only for it to be
filled up shortly after. Can anyone say if this is a memory problem and if
so why has this just suddenly happened?
The only change on my system in recent times is the addition of a SNMP agent

for monitoring by the Concord monitoring tool.
Thanks all,
Michael.
