I ran doxygen on my code, with Doxyfile requesting call graphs.
"graphviz" and "dot" failed with the following message:

Format: "png" not recognized. Use one of: dia hpgl mif mp pcl pic vtx
Problems running dot: exit code=1,
command='/nas/users/vsnyder/download/graphviz-2.20.3/cmd/dot/dot',
arguments='"graph_legend.dot" -Tpng -o "graph_legend.png"'

So then I changed the type to pic and ran dot stand-alone:

~/download/graphviz-2.20.3/cmd/dot/dot graph_legend.dot -Tpic -o graph_legend.pic

with the following result:

Error: Layout was not done.  Missing layout plugins?
