Thank you for the script suggestion!

I would suggest that you either form a new github repo (or whatever your choice of \
poison is) and develop it there. **or** you can open a pull request at \
https://github.com/dovecot/tools/.

Mandatory steps to get it into tools:

 - Rewrite in python3
 - Add some comments

Some personal notes

I think it's just fine to output mbox format that Dovecot accepts, then it can be \
easily migrated into some other format. Doing format conversion can be more difficult \
than it is worth.
