I have done so, both in the users $HOME as well as in the maildir. No such 
luck.


As for postfix. I am calling deliver like this:

mailbox_command = /usr/lib/dovecot/deliver
dovecot_destination_recipient_limit = 1
virtual_transport = dovecot
