I like the apps to be integrated and have the same visual 
widgets/colors, and I don't want to waste time to obtain this.
I don't like to waste time on configuration files for something that can 
be easily configured with point and click tools.

I don't think I use it at all. It maybe sometimes when I reorganize the 
files, but I use copy, cut and paste, more than drag and drop. I, 
actually find drag and drop cumbersome. BTW I don't think that drag and 
drop depends on the DE, unless you mean between applications, shouldn't 
exists also with window managers?
