i haven't been following this... actually, i haven't been following much 
of anything for the past 2 weeks while out of town for a 
funeral/thanksgiving.

anyway, might sony be liable under "hacking" laws for unauthorized use of 
computer resources? especially if someone with a secure/govt computer 
decided to listen to a CD at work...

if any of us installed a rootkit on a several thousand boxes we'd be in 
jail.
