Subject:    [DMCA_Discuss] CNN Headline  News reports the RIAA DOS attack

I noticed that CCN Headline news did a story on the RIAA denial of
service shutdown yesterday.  It was a bit tongue-in-cheek, and about as
serious as a UFO sighting report.  They did display a huge graphic of
the RIAA homepage in the background, to give it some visual appeal, but
they mainly focused on RIAA's side of the story (which is to be expected
I guess.)

They did mention the current legislation that likely inspired the
shutdown, but ended with a statement that the legislation will not allow
copyright holders to enter private computers or to shutdown sites or to
damage property - only to remove copyrighted materials.  They did not
touch on the aspect of copyright holders being able to take action
without due process of law.
