It's likely to grow on you. Since these are actually separate things. 

Your tinydns server(s) should be just for telling the world about your
network's DNS stuff. 

The external dnscaches will be for your external clients to use.

In fact, in my environment I have an internal dnscache for the users to
use, an internal tinydns server providing the actual picture inside, and an
external tinydns providing a different picture to the outside world.
Because most servers have different addresses depending on whether you are
outside or inside. And many are not available outside, so the external
tinydns doesn't provide any info about them.
