If I understand you question correctly, you should be able to use the
following option:

server-identifier 172.16.1.1;

Just change the IP here to that of the eth1 IP. Do a release/renew of
the IP and then do an ipconfig /all and it should show the eth1 IP as
the DHCP server.

Cheers

    The following may be utterly confused... Please forgive.

     Running dhcpd 3.x, redhat 7.2 Fedora 3 etc.

     Server box is a router, eth0 is WAN and eth1 is LAN.

	Dhcp requests come in on eth1 and go out on eth1 but the src address
of the server response is eth0.

     XP seems to have a problem with this, in that it's firewall auto
enables the expected src address of the dhcp server, but not the
actual address. So it requests and requests and requests, and gets
acks that never get through until it gives up and does a discover
again which works as it is broacast.

     Pointers to RTFM welcome, how to get dhcp server to use src
address of expected.

     Thanks  Homer
