You have to kill it and restart it.

Um.   Because they do different things?   The dhclient.conf syntax
preceded the named.conf syntax, anyway.   :')

Broadcasts and probes?   Don't you mean "clients asking to be
configured?"   :')

Mellon is elvish (from _The_Lord_of_the_Rings_).   Lemon is my legal
name.   I do like fruit, although lemons are not my favourite.   What
does this have to do with DHCP?   :')

The DHCP Handbook has a chapter on the client itself, and also has
information about the client in some other chapters.
