I'm part of a bigger dhcpproject and need to do some simulated client
testings. In short what I want to do is do what ever a dhcp client does but
only faking it. So I want to send a request and handle the reply but not
actually do any changes to my network cards configuration. Then after
som testing against the dns I want to release the ipaddress again.

Any idea how I could do this?
