ISC DHCP 4.1.0b1 is now available for download.  4.1.0 represents a
feature release, and contains many new features.

4.1.0b1 is its first BETA release, and contains a small number of bug
fixes.  Of major note, the new delayed-ack feature has been moved to
be "compiled out" by default (over-ridden with a ./configure flag).
We will revisit this in a future release; for now it appears it may
have some bad interactions with failover instances (non-failover users
are encouraged to test and benchmark it).  There is also a new
dhclient-script included, suggested for use with Mac OSX to make use
of DHCPv6.

PLEASE NOTE:  4.0.1b1 also released today.  Although the release
numbers may appear similar, this is a different release.  Whereas
4.0.1 is a maintenance release, fixing bugs in the 4.0.0 software,
4.1.0 is a feature release.  It contains the same bug fixes, but also
new features that were not present in 4.0.0.

                        Changes since 4.1.0a2

- A cosmetic bug in DHCPDECLINE processing was fixed which caused all
  successful DHCPDECLINEs to be logged as "not found" rather than
  "abandoned".

- Added configuration file examples for DHCPv6.

- Some failover debugging #defines have been better defined and some
  high frequency messages moved to a deeper debugging symbol.

- The CLTT parameter in failover is now only updated by client activity,
  and not by failover binding updates (taking on the peer's CLTT).

- Failover BNDUPD messages are now discarded if they conflict with an
  update that has been trasnmitted, but not acknowledged.

- A bug cleaning up unknown-xxx temporary option definitions was fixed.

- Delayed-ack is now a compile-time option, compiled out by default.
  This feature is simply too experimental for right now, and causes
  some problems to some failover installations.  We will revisit this
  in future releases.

- The !inet_pton() call in res_mkupdrec was adjusted to '<= 0' as
  inet_pton returns either 1, 0, or -1.

- A dhclient-script for MacOS X has been included, which enables
  'dhclient -6' support.
